Rubin Farr
Looking at setting up a mobile studio, and looking for a recording interface for a MacBook. Been reading a lot about incompatibilities with Mbox so will probably steer clear of that. Besides, I need something that is compatible with the mac versions of Ableton and Traktor, with 2 sets of analog Ins and Outs. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Rubin Farr
yeah i did some reading today, and decided to go from a 13" Macbook to a Macbook Pro, it's only $350 more for the setup i want, with the added bonus of firewire. think i'm gonna go with either the Edirol FA-66 or the gorgeous FA-101. i probably wouldn't use all of the capacity of the FA-101, especially on the extended road trip i'm planning, but it's so sweet, 2 Toslink SPDIFs, 10 I/Os, shit it's a studio! i've also read Edirols have some of the best out of the box compatibility with OSX Leopard, so no headaches are a plus.
