I JUST THOUGHT

since all the Few Old Tunes tracks floating around aren't officially BOC (or owned by anyone at all), that means we can shamelessly sample the beats and steal the melodies for use in our own tracks.

be wary. a lot of the stuff in old tunes are sampled from other tunes. [perhaps why they havent been released. i would cost a fortune]

and werd was, that a few years ago...maybe even as far back as 6-7 years, WARP bought all the old tunes. there was rumour of a box set. and let me reiterate...RUMOUR.

They're officially BoC (or, if you wish to be pedantic about it, "BoC and the other artists invloved"), and are protected under copyright the moment they're created.

WARP didn't "buy" them, and if a box set is still in the cards, they'd only have bought the rights to publish them from whomever is BoC's publisher.

There wasn't a rumour of a Box set... MDG himself said that there were tentative plans to release a compilation (box set if you will) of older material... when and IF they get around to it, is another matter altogether.
