Datassette's self-titled 2008 LP was one of the more impressive releases of that year, and he continues the goodness with this vinyl-only EP for a very obscure German label. I recognize at least one of the tracks from a DJ set that he played last year (for which I later found a soundboard recording), and generally speaking it's more of the dark post-IDM electro that has characterized his work thus far. Highly recommended!

i know this release is fucking ace, can't stop listening... each track is unique, really forward electro/techno here I reckon

i like it even more than when i first wrote that review ... especially the track 'humans'

Cool stuff. I really enjoyed that Datasette release last year. Shall look forward to this!

Datassette's self-titled is pretty damn awesome.
