help me! question about static with piano / e piano

Recommended Posts

So I've got this recording that I've been messing with for the past hour or so. I've had this problem in the past and I'm tired of it.

Basically the midi electric and midi grand piano can't be played together because static forms. I have tools to fix it but I don't know how to use them.

That is all.

what more data would help?

maybe some of this:

Either one played alone is fine. But when they're together there is some sort of high frequency interference. I've tried filters, messing with EQ, compressors, and so on. This problem happens often when I use the midi pianos and electric pianos. Something about the frequency they're at makes that sort of irritating static sound. It's not like heavy static, but more like annoying treble noise that comes into the mix.

Maybe it's clipping? (hint, turn the gain down on both tracks)

But seriously, what the fuck do you mean by midi piano. Like drukqs kind of thing?

And also, is this a real recording of an electric piano, or is it a vst, what do you actually mean? You should provide an exact schematic of your recording setup so we can narrow down what you are actually talking about.
