I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're using Chrome, and you've got the Dev Channel enabled, right? absolutely! yeah, I thought so... my Chrome DEV version (3.0.195.6) is borked at work; I can't get ANY sites to work with it - I think it's a combination of my work's proxy server and the DEV version. I have just been using Safari 4, which I must say, I like quite a lot. For popup ads, look under the gear icon on the far right (I'm assuming you mean on the PC version of Safari) - you'll see a "block pop up windows" or CTRL+SHIFT+K On a Mac, I'm not sure as I am at work atm and don't have access to my home Mac. Safari really doesn't have a "fullscreen" mode like Chrome and Firefox do; you can, though turn off interface elements, again under the gear menu. If I were you, I'd give Chrome a try (again, if you're on a PC) - it's the best browser next to Safari, although Opera is really getting better and better with each version. I'd say: Chrome --> Safari --> Opera --> Firefox The biggest problem with Firefox is also it's greatest strength: all the add-ons for it - they can make the browser have a lot of great functionality, but also suck up all your memory and slow down the primary purpose of the application - to browse web sites.
