I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're using Chrome, and you've got the Dev Channel enabled, right?

yeah, I thought so... my Chrome DEV version (3.0.195.6) is borked at work; I can't get ANY sites to work with it - I think it's a combination of my work's proxy server and the DEV version. I have just been using Safari 4, which I must say, I like quite a lot.

Same here, I switched from FF which kept crashing since the last update. But, I'm often getting similar problems to kokoon using Safari 4.

Odd, because I have yet to see that issue with the forum so far... using Chrome or Safari...

maaan, I just got a problem with Jump to a page feature. Having only error pages from it. Browsing YourLatestCreations and getting songs from the oldest page to the newest is quite hard without it.

Apologies, I meant to type similar to assegai, i.e. page not loading and timing out, and slow speed.

For popup ads, look under the gear icon on the far right (I'm assuming you mean on the PC version of Safari) - you'll see a "block pop up windows" or CTRL+SHIFT+K

On a Mac, I'm not sure as I am at work atm and don't have access to my home Mac.

Safari really doesn't have a "fullscreen" mode like Chrome and Firefox do; you can, though turn off interface elements, again under the gear menu.

If I were you, I'd give Chrome a try (again, if you're on a PC) - it's the best browser next to Safari, although Opera is really getting better and better with each version.

I'd say: Chrome --> Safari --> Opera --> Firefox

The biggest problem with Firefox is also it's greatest strength: all the add-ons for it - they can make the browser have a lot of great functionality, but also suck up all your memory and slow down the primary purpose of the application - to browse web sites.

On Mac, Click on Safari, and on the drop down window click Block Pop-Up Windows snorrrted.

Or CMD+⇧+K

bork

–verb (used with object)

to attack (a candidate or public figure) systematically, esp. in the media.

Interesting - I've always heard it used in context of electronic equipment being broken or not working properly.
