im looking for software

that can analyze two files with the same name and size, and then tell you if there is a difference between the two

you see, ive got loads of songs backed up on my external hdd, but sometimes ill open up an old song, make a slight change, and then save it again on my internal hdd without adding a 2 or something. ive now stopped doing this, but now i need to go back and make sure that all my songs backed up are actually the newest versions
