G-Media are putting out an Oberheim synth VST next

WooHoo, I've seen the 'leaked' screenshot, it looks great (not that the looks matter). But as its GMedia, the sound will be alright too...

Some modern producers would rather have the VSTi than the hardware, so I bet there will be more on the market. I don't think hardware prices go up becuase of an emulation by G-Media. Or does it?

prices wont be affected much.

if anything, there will be a few put on the market with the vst out.

the oddity was a bit pish but the software oscar is one of the best, hope the vst for the oberheim is just as good. can't wait to start rocking out the 'jump' synth! and stand back by stevie nicks....

Umm. yeah it is.

Without the controller or an external editor it's kinda crap. OK it sounds nice, it's quite powerful but not UBERpowerful or something, and it's a bitch to edit.

For an analogue polysynth module it is uberpowerful. Nothing else in the class has the modulation options. You cant edit it AT ALL without a computer or a knob box, which is why they are a bargain

i like g media: mtron,imposcar, minimonsta ... all quality

can't wait for this
