this lil' thing looks pretty nice... but since my oxygen8 is giving me troubles and is acting pretty weirdly, my next purchase will probably be a nice new midi controller...

it doesn't have an x/y pad, which is a major deal-breaker for me.

this controller sure looks nice. great design and it seems to have some nice features as well... but you know what ? I'm kind of tired of those m-audio products. from what I've seen, they are alright, but kindof cheap. see that oxygen8 is nice and I had lots of fun with it but you see, it seems to not last very long. maybe I'm a little too hard with it and shit (I move it alot, everywhere). I'll look further into the specs of those new m-audio controllers but to be honest with you, I was looking into other companies... I dunno, I think the edirol controllers look nice. anyone has one ??

i totally agree. m-audio is the budget of the budget...

i can't endorse the novation remote25 enough. it's influenced my music so much. i love it!

edit: eep! i just bought a padkontrol! got a discount ($179), couldn't resist. my GF might kill me. pray for me...

i'd say that used to be true, before they bought other companies, such as evolution etc. Their newer stuff is all MUCH more solid then the original m-audio gear.

go play around with a trigger finger, or the new keyboards to see if you notice a difference in build quality.

ok, it has an xy pad and a korg badge - too wee selling points granted, but all the same...

if it's x-y your after, buy a kaoss pad. can get a second hand v1.0 for about £45 or so.

why bother with anything else.

the remote rules. you need those knobs. especially if you ever perform live.

well, it's only pink when the pads are activated... i just got it at work! i'll be playing with it tonight. although, i just got an xbox360 today so i'll have to share my play time between them.
