yes, as to how many I make, that is still in the air. Since it is 2 discs, that upped the mastering charge. I may do 10 I may do 100, we shall see :)

also want to note that if your track is not chosen in the final list it doesn't mean it's not good, just means it wouldn't work into the flow :/ with as many tracks time became a factor also for both cds.

I have considered this yes. And it wouldn't be called "rejects" anything b/c they are artistic creations, not assembly line parts that were manufactured incorrectly :) It's still up in the air. If you are reading this and your track was NOT selected, email or PM me and let me know if you would be interested in this, or if you would rather just save your track for one of your releases. If there are enough tracks after that, then it's a possibility of a free download.

They don't even offer bleep downloads iirc.

What if we all agreed to call it rejects? Makes it more appealing in a strange way

sure

My heart sank. Then I scrolled down.

:yeah:

Edit: Sunglasses at night is a hilarious/awesome track title.

That's Joshier's remix of Sunglasses at Night by Corey Hart from a mystical place called the 80s (Though Joshier probably remixed the remix by Tiga and Zyntherius) which is like at least a year old because it was in his 1 billion megabyte YLC champions.rar file from last year, thus predating the Antarctica tournament and with no connection to this Antarctica theme whatsoever. Interestingly, if you look up their performance on

, you can see Ed DMX Upton spazzing out on the Electronic Drums.

For real? I didn't know it was a remix or that it had been released before. In that case, I hate to be strict but that disqualifies it. It would be unfair to everyone else that followed the rules.

Yah, I'm familiar with the Corey Hart song. I just assumed he wrote an unrelated track, but named it "sunglasses at night", giving the name new meaning.

Cd1 is beat oriented, cd2 is more down tempo ambient (with a lil beat oriented stuff). So i would say about a 50/50 ratio which is great! this is one reason i was really trying to get more tracks b/c after the initial songs i received trying to make one cd with that kind of ratio just was not flowing right, it was to SUPER UP super looow. So this has worked out nicely :)

I've gotta fill the gap of joshiers song now, LUDD make me an awesome beat driven song. Actually the cd will be okay without it i can likely move one from cd2 over to it.

brandi: the "nimrod expedition" track is actually a collaboration with me and maskine... so the artists name should be "asymmetrical head + maskine"

@ asy: yeah I forgot to put maskine up there sorry bout that, it's on the file don't know why i left it off there

Yeah i'm sad joshiers remix can't be on there, i enjoyed it.

Oooh... I feel that I have to ask, so things don't get messed up:

Is it ok that I'm credited on two tracks ("Is" and "Nimrod Expedition")?

how come you can't have a cd that has both down-tempo ambient and up-tempo beat driven songs? (like what happens on like real cd's that you buy from shops and stuff).

jus' askin'.

Yeah that as fine, collabs were not big deal (i think that was the only one). If you both had single tracks submitted in addition to this one, then no that wouldn't be okay. But that one plus yours is okay since that's the only other track with asym :)

You can by all means and there was a way to make it work, but this is sooo much better as far as the overall mix and flow goes. Plus it's more music from more artists. It's not as separate as you may be thinking. And this is a real cd that will (hopefully) be available in modern shops (internets).
