I just got myself a new version of melodyne and for some reason I cant change pitch slightly anymore like in previous versions. the pitch adjustment just snaps to each semitone?

Anybody know a solution for this?

yeah, hold option/alt (on a mac, probs shift on a pc, or similar?), that lets you slide the notes without snap, helps with accidental shifts etc!

since you've already got an answer to your question i won't feel guilty side tracking the thread. Has anyone here had experience turning a solo instrument or vocal performance in melodyne into a midi file? it seems like it could be the most graceful sounding way to convert say a recording of myself singing into a midi track in cubase.

I tried doing this once. It wasn't very successful. Although as long as everything is done as cleanly as possible I shouldn't imagine you will have a problem doing this.

this post seems somewhat contradictory.

yeah, it works pretty well but you have to make things nice and neat first.

Reading it back it does. I should have clarified that the recording I tried it with was less than stellar.
