So where are my Wuuuu negros? This shit looks so hot i can't wait. You guys suck, I know this is an Emo electronica AFX cum guzzling penis forum, but this is so legit. It's turned out to be everything you could have hopped for if you were one of those people spinning Only Built For Cuban Linx and Liquid Swords non stop back in the day. BTW I love how Dilla has Posthumously become the new RZA, his tracks sound so scary Wutang its fucked up, like authentic... Also the whole album has more or less been leaked on youtube. I won't listen to it just to make september 8th that much of a better day. But I have listened to the three pitchfork featured tracks, two produced by Dilla and one by RZA("Wu ooh", it's been a street single for a while). And they are great. Can't Fucken wait!

not trying to sound too cool or old as shit, but i'm pretty old school, i was into wu when they came out in '93 and like everyone else at the time, totally addicted and fiending for anything wu related.

it was all good until the second wu full length and then i totally lost interest. since then i've avoided almost everything except pretty toney's shit, but i gotta say, i thought this record was going to be another over-hyped, under-delivered disappointment...but..the first 2 tracks are good, classic wu quality. i'm not feeling the dilla beat though.

I will admit, I ride Dillas jock as much as the next fanboi. But his tracks sound Wu, it's utterly compelling. IMO

LOL I don't really consider that cover "art." Hip hop covers are so formulaic at this point. It's autopilot.

The beats on this are sounding nice though. Sounds like old Wu.

I've been following this one for a while. I can't believe its actually coming out.

Quick question, I did a wiki on the album and is there actually two songs by BT on there? .... like Trance Inventory BT?

the tracklist on wikipedia is wrong. This one at Amazon seems to be the most accurate so far. same songs, different order, some missing. looks legit.

Nice!

I can't wait to hear Criminology 09.

Shame RZA/Chef/Ghost/Nas didn't do Verbal Intercourse 09, that track was bananas.

We will Rob you with Slick Rick/Rae/Masta Killa/Gza is gonna be some insane lyricisim.

Now we just need to have detox finally come out, and hell will have officially frozen over in the world of hip hop.

Any WU fan knows deck is just as good as any other member, and has delivered some of the greatest rap verses of all time. It sucks he didnt get his own RZA produced album in the mid 90's, it would have destroyed. His verse on house of flying daggers is also insane.

I wouldn't call U-god weak, just he didn't really have a chance to establish himself on 36 chambers, he had like one verse or something.

and it was good. i like u-god. his dopium album that came out this year is good too. i don't bother with golden arms redemption and the other one though ha.

Now that I've listened to this album about 10 times, I can say it keeps getting better and better with each listen. A few pointless tracks like Mean Streets and Have Mercy, but overall this shit is awesome. Raekwon's first verse on Surgical Gloves might be worth the price of the entire album by itself for me.

The pete Rock produced track Sonny's Missing is straight classic Rock and Raekwon. So good.

UGOD is weak...come on now. Admit it.

Deck spits great verses, but I don't think he has the consistency....for a full length.

Nice that this got released the day before my b-day though :)

백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.
