For the record, C.R.E.E.P. was a stand alone single which was included as a bonus track (along with its b-sides) on the cassette and CD versions of The Wonderful And Frightening World Of The Fall. Similarly, Hit The North was NOT part of Frenz. It was released some time earlier, and was an extra track on the tape and CD versions of said album. FFS.

pretty similar to yours benedict, i believe the fall went off the boil in the late 80s and didn't fully recover until mark e smith almost lost the plot towards the end of the 90s when he went bankrupt and all the long term fall members fucked off. there a bit more hit and miss now but still worth checking out.

yes good points. no need to get snotty though.

i mostly have the expanded CD versions of the albums and i wouldn't think much of frenz without those extras.

i did however not pick fiery jack or rowche rumble as they are extra tracks on my dragnet. so i should follow that logic through.

if i couldnt pick c.r.e.e.p then i'd have to go with the track with gavin friday singing "over the hill". i think that album is massively overated.

i tried working on a list but it's so hard.

also... (forgive me Mark E Smith) but i've not heard anything new since 1996 ish...

Yep, you are right, no need at all. Was a bit pissed and my attempt at anal humour got horribly mangled between my brain and my keyboard. No excuse though. Seriously dude, I'm sorry for coming across as a prick.
