show me some of his best songs in YOUR opinion. i wanna know what the fuss is all about

This wouldn't sound out of place on any of the Now! releases.

I need to get wave funk, but his vocal stuff although hilarious, isn't exactly all that pleasing for me. I can appreciate that he is talented, but I just can't really get into it like some people here I guess.

shit! that means i've met aphex twin! he's lost a lot of weight since the last photo i saw.

but seriously, of his earlier '80s influenced' stuff i'd recommend the 'We Are DMX' album. in later years, i thought the Collapse Of The Wave Function series was great, esp. Vol.4. he's a very entertaining live artist too even though he uses a very basic set-up of MPC + TB-303 plus vocals.
