Guest maantecaaa!!!

Went to the Warp show last night in NYC, paid over $30 to get in:

!!!: weaksauce

Battles: a little better, but what's the point?

Meeting David Byrne, worth the money I paid

and get THIS:

he rode his bike to the show. on a Friday night. after midnight. from Brooklyn to the far side of Manhattan.

Guy was my hero before, now he's god-like to me.

Haha, fucking awesome.

my friend heckled him on the feelings tour back in 1997 - 'hey david, you owe me 20 years pocket money'

he took it well enough, responded with something like - 'i can assure you i'd never have sex with a woman that ugly', lol

he is awesome live. i'd love to have seen that bush of ghosts tour recently

I saw him for the latest Eno/Byrne album tour, and it was probably the best concert ive ever been to. guy did like 3 encores, and the last one was "Take Me to the River"......so fucking awesome.

"Byrne is also known for his activism in support of increased cycling, and for having used a bike as his main means of transport for most of his life, especially cycling around New York, where he has designed innovative bicycle parking racks, as image outlines"

i wanted to go to that but it was fuckin' expensive ($140 or something?). it's a shame though, what i saw on youtube from that tour was awesome. i can't believe his voice is still as great as it was in talking heads!

ditto, I saw him on his first solo tour and felt the same way. He had a backing band of 20 or so guys playing all these unique instruments.

This was at the Greek theater in Berkeley, if you've ever been there it has really steep seating with a grassy hill at the top that gives you almost a bird's-eye vantage point on the stage. For this concert being at the top of the hill allowed you to peer over the speakers to the area backstage where the performers waited to go on. The most "Byrne moment" was when I realized during the opening act that the guy dancing around manically back there by himself was none other than David Byrne.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.
