Here is a track a friend and I collaborated on recently. I've been getting more into using voices recently.

Kind of a poppy thing with a female vocalist. She also played the ukulele.

i really liked it. you two should do some more stuff. her vox and what i'm assuming is her ukulele sounded great meshed together with your random funky synths

Shhh, they'll never notice.

When we're ready, I'm going to record a much better version. The drums could be a lot bigger, and the vocals really need to be recorded with a good mic. This was recorded using the laptop mic.

Yeah, I started it out trying to make something really retro 80s-sounding, but it segues out of the cheese pretty quickly.
