someone i know "came out" as this last year and is currently kind of inbetween. its confusing and i keep using the wrong him/her/he/she etc. and introductions are insane.

i know a chris that became a christina and asked everyone to call him her, started taking estrogen to grow boobs talking about having her penis/balls lopped off because apparently taking estrogen can make your nuts go cancerous. i was all like, wtf, that's nuts, but she said converting penis -> vag cost major $$ and the estrogen was bad enough

a couple months later (s)he gave up and now christina is chris again

moral of the story: wtf

thats insane. think about how much uts/effort/insanity it took to tell everyone and deal with that shit. then you start and you realise its not right. gah

if my understanding is correct, it's not because she changed her mind -- it's because it was too much of a pain in the ass. chris would still rather be christina but came to accept the fact that that wasn't going to happen without more effort than he was willing to put in.
