The Flaming Lips Play Colbert Show, Stream New Album

watched this last night. maybe i just never knew how weird wayne coyne was in person. the interview was a little strained. the song was ok, not vintage FL but still alright. I really really enjoyed at war... but everyone else seemed so down on it. never understood that. let's hope embryonic is good!

loved the performance. I thought the interview was funny and I never thought about the lyrics for Do you Realize? before.

The soft bulletin is my favourite album, fucking love this band.

I made a flaming lips thread before when "yoshimi battles the pink robots" came out.

But it flopped, almost as much as the album.

Wah? Yoshimi didn't flop in any way whatsoever. It was massively successful here in the states anyway.
