I <3 The Autodeli

if you've been to a stop & shop supermarket in recent years, you'll note they have installed a computer touchscreen through which you can order your deli stuff. it's fantastic. it saves me 3-4 minutes of awkwardness -- standing around and scratching my ass, wondering if i should be trying to make idle chitchat, as i watch some guy slice meat with a gigantic electric saw.

i am also vastly amused at the fact that i am using a computer to program a human being's actions for a few minutes. the autodeli turns a consumer into god. bless the autodeli
