That was pretty cool. I like how it had audio, was neat how silent it was falling from space except for the noise of the equipment rattling around.

good job with the balloon, but the end result is not very watchable. it wouldn't take much work to build a spin-reducing harness for the camera.

i agree w/ stabilization. you'd think they could fashion some kind of wing or fin to prevent spin, especially on the way down. unfortunately you can't really do anything about the spin when the balloon breaks, since there is no atmosphere.

wouldn't it be so much more cooler to have the camera point directly down? and eliminate/compensate the spinning... this makes me sick, really. but yeah, "cool" i guess.

in the late 40s people were sticking cameras to old nazi V2 rockets and doing precisely this kind of thing for the very first time. this video looks just like footage from those ones did, except in colour

They did have to get clearance from Canada's FAA before launching to make sure there was no air traffic in the area at the time...

really really cool. once they've got stabilization it will be even more cool.
