creating artist names for oneself

for me in particular i'm thinking up dj names... it seems like everything has been taken. do you think it's fair to share a name with a dj who is probably just as small as me and lives quite a distance from me, even a different country. i obviuosly wouldn't use dj sasha etc or something popular. every name has been taken it seems. curses!

You should just pick a name and lose the "DJ" at the beginning.

make something original. drop the DJ bit. or perhaps replace DJ with MC since they're interchangeable in their original Jamaican meaning INNIT
