Drinking mead

im a big wine guy, so i walked into the liquor store for something...exciting i guess, and the owner recommended me this bottle of mead;

its like drinking alcoholic apple juice!!! no wonder this shit was so popular in the middle ages.

Yes this shits pretty heavy, four pints of traditional mead in a "local" pub, will fuck anyone sideways.

My father has some beehives. He likes to make his own mead. It's not sweet at all.

mead is AWESOME and it's also the easiest drink to make yourself. Do it.

I've had some fantastic mead before; really high-proof non-sweet clear nectar that smelled like everclear but was as smooth as water... mmmmmmm

I've also had some other stuff that tasted nothing like that; more of a nutty wine-ish flavour that was still quite good. There was a great house party I went to years ago where they had several cases of this home-brew wine/mead that they wanted to get rid of. It didn't last long :D

i think thanks to wisp mead is probably the most IDM drink. and there is totally a paradigm shift on IDM things right now. DAVOCK TRAINERS BABY!
