asshole cops

okay, so i go driving around and i decide to take a short cruise through this park. now, you can't be there after 11 pm. i had NO idea i couldn't be there at the time. right when i get into the park, there is a cop car that pulls me over. the officer gets out and she just asks for my license and tells me about the hours. she seemed perfectly friendly and was actually kinda cool. but then she calls this dick over, an he pulls up in his SUV. he gets out and all he does is ask me useless questions. it goes like

cop: your mother know where you are?

me: yeah, she knows i'm out

cop: this her car?

me: no

cop: this yours?

me: yeah

cop: are you sure? (lol huh)

me: yes

cop: .....you not a very nice person? just gonna answer in one syllables? huh? (and u shoulda seen this guys stare)

me: .........i'm not trying to be rude, sir.

cop: what school you go to?

me: central high

cop: (gives me another really hard stare) you know you can't be here after 11?

me: yea, i know now

cop: there is a sign at the entrance, didn't you see it?

me: okay. i can turn around and leave. i didn't see it, i'm sorry...

he walks away with his eyes locked on me. then i get my license back, and i turn to my friend, who is just as dumbfounded as me. then we slowly get out of there and i stop at the entrance. the sign was like this:

sure, i disobeyed the sign. but what kind of enforcement is that? what bullshit, make it noticable if it's a big deal, not so tiny that no one will read it or pay attention to it. and of course i couldn't try to make any reasonable point. because his badge is his fucking forcefield that can make it look like any eyelid twitch is an argument against HIS authority.

ive had the exact same thing happen to me when i was 16. parked in the park to munch down on a burger real quick....3, count em, 3 cop cars show up in the dead of night with their SIRENS AND LIGHTS on and flashing.

it was an LOL moment for sure.

I have never had even a run-in of any kind with a cop. I consider myself very lucky.

Yes. Was looking for a scenic place in the park to eat my pizza and slid on ice.

I've had really good luck with cops. I got into a car wreck WASTED on xanax 3-4 years ago and since they couldn't PROVE i was fucked up cuz I had no alcohol, they just took me to the hospital, who released me while I was still blacked out.

oh man, if there were kid cops? oh man. i would kill a foo.

i've been stopped by cops while just walking down the sidewalk on multiple occasions. most of the times i was drunk and/or carrying drugs with me but nothing has ever happened. they call in my licence and let me go on my merry way.

my brother's gotten totally fucked by cops. he's a shadier character than i am and not as good at dealing with police.
