WTF is the deal with idm live visuals and porn?

so i'm kind of drunk and just came back from the 2nd day of the Why? electronic music festival, which is basically all types of electronic music from people in toronto (except for enduser) and I just couldn't get over how much porn was in the live visuals. like almost every artist had straight up porn that was remixed to the music they were playing. and it wasn't the same guy doing the visuals for every artist, like they all had different people, different themes, etc. is this only something situated in toronto but all over as well> it seems kind of weird. like all this porn ive noticed in idm is important. that this means something. there has to be some kind of meaning behind all the porn but i can't pinpoint it down. what other artists use porn in their live visuals?

also i didn't know whether to post this in gen banter or music discussion but it's more one than the other then i guess move it

i don't know man, it wasn't all bad. i enjoyed gorf also the drinks were pretty steep at 6 bucks, glad i predrank

i still don't know what the deal is with the porn. it wasn't 'enjoyable' in the least sense...just really greasy shit from the 80s. didn't boards of canada use some porno in a promotional video or something?
