Charles Manson

As many of you know, back in the day, before the Tate-LaBianca murders, Charlie Manson recorded this album in Dennis Wilson's (of the Beach Boys) studio. It pretty much sucks ass but this one song is so fucking good I had to make a thread. I should have done this years ago. I guess Guns 'n Roses covered it at some point but the original is much better. Accept no substitute. Charlie actually sings good on this song imo. The slide show is ace also.

Luckily I was privy to the fact Charlie was a damn good folk musician before I found out about theLaBianca/Tate murders. PHEW! But I did know that Roman Polanski had impregnated Sharon Tate with the moonchild golum("antichrist"), as depicted in his film 'Rosemary's Baby', and felt that something did need to be done about bringing such a child into the world. So did the Beatles. They wrote the 'white' album to instruct Mr. Manson(intuitively) on what to do next. I did not go so well for Charlie or anyone else involved but at least the end of times didn't occur!

Seriously, I own all of his music and think he was a better musician than a crazy man. More famous for being a crazy man though. And my quack statement up there is an idea I have for a short story. Yes I think the song is great but I am wierded out by the synchronicity that just took place. Seriously had no idea Polanski was just arrested. Found out after I wrote that in here. Funny world.

i second the fact that aside from manson being a complete nut, he did write some beautiful songs
