Damn these hernias

I can tell you guys...being sore after surgery from getting a hernia repaired isn't all that fun. I was placed under the knife last Tuesday and they gave me about a 4 inch battle scar on my upper right pelvic area. 'Though, most of the pain has subsided I still waddle around and gotta learn not to laugh, cough or sneeze. Has anyone else had a hernia repair?

how did you do it? how can i avoid one?

I'll take the rest of that percoset. I've got a broken clavicle and almost out of vicodin.

I really don't know how I did it. Though, some people are born with a weak abdominal wall I guess and your intestines decides to move out from the parents wing...so they move out to the southern wing.

I've had two hernia surgeries. It sucks.

And because I'm American I'm still paying off the surgery from a year and a half ago. And that was with insurance coverage.

hernias are the worst. i had one and didn't shit for a week after, excruciating recovery. Hope the percoset help.

Well I was actually going to get the surgery done last year but I decided I'll save up first cause I don't want to owe anything or much. The pain wasn't around last year so it actually worked out. Currently, my surgery is paid off... I'm just waiting for the bill for the anesthesiologist.

The Percocet was working for a while but I stopped using it last Friday.

Actually the surgery is paid off because the monthly payment they'd allow was so high. It's the anesthesia I'm still paying off.

id have thought anesthesiologists would be a little more hungry for work after jackson's death

In my case it was exactly that...but it was only in the right nut sack...the left nut sack was fine. Go figure. Thank God it wasn't a tumor :).
