Arial vs Helvetica Quiz

18/20... yeah, I'm a designer.

Only got MATTEL wrong.

It's easy if you look for s or c. Helvetica has flat ends, Arial is sloped.

19 out of 20... i got mattel wrong too!

Also F is quite different too in Helvetica and Arial

I would recommend a documentary called "Helvetica" for all the font nerds.

the F, G, R and angle of the stroke ends are giveaways, but the Toyota one threw me off; I wasn't paying enough attention to proportions of the letters. so fuck toyota, i got 19/19.

EXACTLY. it seriously is only the proportions of the letterforms, no discernable differences in terminating strokes or tails, nothing.

The angles are a giveway. I mean geeze...

I would have liked Arial vs Helv vs Univers vs Azkidenz vs Folio vs Swiss font family !

I've been sorting through a case of Helvetica.

i honestly couldn't remember what either looked like starting, but it got easier as it went on.

The middle section of the A is different, too. That was the first one I picked up on.

jesus christ arial is an ugly font when compared to helvetica. looks so cheap.
