awepittance
In Reaktor you can easily do this, there is an object (called A to E) that converts 'audio' to 'events' and in reaktor midi data is treated as an event. So all you have to do is hook up a an audio LFO generator and put it's output into an A to E, then take the output and send it to a Midi CC object. In the midi cc object you can assign to the cc #. If you what you mean is using an LFO to generate something akin to an arpegiated midi melody, i'm not sure how to do this and make it sound melodic without putting the resulting midi through a scale filter. I think a lot of newer wonky and hip hop artists use LFOs to make super fast arpegios but i'm not sure what they are using, there are a lot of ways to get this effect even just making a regular speed melody and speeding it up 10x Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide awepittance's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/49457-lfo-2-midi/#findComment-1135096 Share on other sites
Guest spraaaa
different waveforms and different rates of sampling the waveform for notes will give you different types of scales. did something like that in bidule months ago but I forgot the details... ryancolecreate
puredata! that would be super easy. You could use midipipe or something to feed in the midi out from the sequencer, and have the LFO trigger with note on or something. Could also have it sync if ya wanted. The limit is your intellect. :D I built a patch that has 5 adsr envelopes if you'd like it. :) Edited October 3, 2009 by slightlydrybeans Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide ryancolecreate's signature Hide all signatures ------ dailyambient.com ------ New Ambient Music Every Day. I actually found this one before posting this topic, however I found it a bit confusing & I also couldn't add another instrument to my live track, thus making it seemingly impossible to route it through an instrument. awepittance
I'm hoping if Max for Live catches on and people start using it a lot NI will team up with a DAW developer and integrate Reaktor into something like Cubase or Logic Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide awepittance's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/49457-lfo-2-midi/#findComment-1138162 Share on other sites
