You fucking wimp, the other day I had 12 viles of blood taken, the flu jab, my hepatitus jab and my meningitus jab, all in one arm, and my arm didn't hurt. Well it did a little but I didn't cry to watmm about it. Like I do with most things.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the nurse was a huge black man who punched the needle into my arm.

It's worth still getting it once the flu is over though isn't it? Coz you can catch the flu more than once, so yeah, when your flu is gone kaen go get the jab asap.

here in canada they've immunized against the wrong strains of the flu for 5 of the last 7 years.

getting the flu shot hasn't done much good here. Doubt there is any different man.

I used to have no problem with needles because I got allergy shots every 2 weeks for about 5 years.

after they discontinued though I had a very scarring trip to the blood clinic. They needed 2 vials of my blood and there was this fresh-out-of-med-school girl who kinda looked like she didn't know what she was doing.

She poked me with the needle and it FUCKING hurt, I mean, I've gotten blood taken before no big deal but this hurt. She wiggled it back and forth but clearly missed the vein. I looked down and blood was gushing out and dripping down my arm. Next she tried the other arm and fucked it up as well. Then she went to get the nurse and when she did it it was completely painless.

Anyways fuck that stupid girl and I'm horribly terrified of bloodwork now.

I had a flu shot once and got the flu anyway. That's the only time I've had it, so I think I'm better off on my own.
