seriously, 1961 is a great album that should be in any tuss/analord fan's collection.

It sure is. it's a little unfocused at times, but still very awesome.

I only have the first one, it's okay

the unusual time signatures make it all quite annoying to me

the second song from the posted yt vids sounds alright, but nowhere near the tuss

I agree, Last Step is highly enjoyable. 1961 more so than the debut.

I read complaints about the odd time signatures making it unenjoyable for some...never bothered me. Never really paid attention to it, honestly. Maybe that's coming from guys that make music? I don't make music. I just listen. And I like it.

Showboat and Color TV are enjoyable the rest I really can't listen to that

Vibert cheese is a good intentional cheese though,

I have the CD on my CD rack. I don't listen to it a lot, but sometimes it hits the spot, especially with Mr. Funk's touch from it.

I enjoy the odd times on it.

"You're a Nice Girl" it both a separate EP and the song is on the debut album "Last Step". So, no, it isn't on 1961.

holy hell I totally forgot about the "Last Step LP".

The vocals on You're a Nice Girl annoy me. In fact, all the vocals on the debut LP annoy me, which is partly why I prefer 1961.

That's why I like the remix version. The vocals are all affected in a way that makes me like them and makes them less creepy.
