Guest Enter a new display name
http://bleep.com/index.php?page=release_details&releaseid=21801 http://www.discogs.com/Quantec-Cauldron-Subsidence/release/1901867 Quantec is another reason why dub techno is still an active and excellent genre. I am not done yet with my first listen, but I really enjoy so far. I am glad the songs have a less minimal structure than in Quantec's Unusual Signals. The songs were ridiculously repetitious at some point. At least, he really improved technically on that album. Guest fox
Careful, this has been pulled by a number of digital retailers (boomkat, for one) because the mp3s they were sent were shit - listen to the bleep preview of track four (the first few seconds of it) and you will hear what i mean. bleep will be getting back to me when they have better files. what i was able to hear of this, though, was spectacular. The same thing occurs on my files (perhaps my current v2 encoded mp3s are based on those Bleep files). Despite that rip error, this album is still pretty good. The Green Kingdom
From quickly listening to the samples, I thought this one sounded a lot deeper than Unusual Signals (which was a little boring imo). Will have to listen further... Guest fox
definitely an improvement over Unusual Signals (yeah i thought it was a bit meh) - i can tell that much from the shit encrusted mp3s i bought.
