FLA FUR BIS FLE
So, I've been toying with the idea of incorporating my DS when I play shows, for no other reason than it would be a handy, extra midi controller. edit* think i may be on to something as far as a solution goes. any how, has anyone used this at all? Guest Drahken
Buy one of those plastic enclosures you can get from radio shack or a electronic parts supply store and build a slick looking case for the router. Afix some gnarly knobs, and maybe a few LED's attached to a 9v battery, some decal stickers, anything really. It will look trendy and cutting edge while protecting the identity of the gadget inside while people in the audience wonder what the heck it does. Be sure you set the routers ID to something awesome. modey
you don't need a router for dsmidiwifi! it works 'ad-hoc' as far as i know. and some of the controllers available for it are awesome, like x-y stuff for example. i haven't checked out much, but i wouldn't be surprised if there were some nice sequencing options available for ds.
