Guest idrn
http://www.trapcode.com/products_soundkeys.html wanna chip in for this? the demo is pretty unusable and i really need it for my final year project. £100 is a bit steep, but i think the license can be used on multiple computers. Guest KY
oh my bad, i thought it was other trapcode plug-ins. you can probably still find it though; the trapcode keygens i've found require a PC to generate an activation key, however, so you may need a second computer (pc or mac running windows). Guest mrcopyandpaste
If youre planning on seperating frequencies and keuyframing stuff to animate to them, you could always do this with the built in frequency seperation tools and the Audio amplitude keyframe assistant 'convert audio to keyframes' tool thingy. i did that before. Guest mrcopyandpaste
if you have the capacity to render out individual sounds then even better. judt take the individual audio tracks, convert audio to keyframes (from a right click on the layer>keyframe assistant) then use the pickwhip to attach whichever parameter ie scale opacity to the new 'audio amplitude' that youll have on your audio layer. edit: i dont know how much you know. you get the pickwhip from alt clicking on any stopwatch to open the script editor. the pickwhip is the spiral icon youll see. drag it to any other parameter to have one affected by the other.
