It's Always Sunny is actually a very good show. After the first episode, it's nothing like The Office or other cringe comedies.

I need to catch up on the new episodes.

I watch it here and there. Wouldn't mind owning the series on DVD.

The show is fucking brilliant... I didn't give it much a chance before, but jesus christ is this shit hilarious. Charlie is definitely the best and Frank just looks hilarious all the time.

It got a bit outside its comfort zone in season 4, putting them in situations that they would not normally be in. Aside from that though, seasons 1-3 are fantastic, with 2 being my favorite. So far season 5 has been great as well, the recession episode was a little weak but the rest have been really good. There's something about watching horrible people that's just so satisfying. I think we all know a few people like these guys in real life.

This show seriously lacks depth. Don't get me wrong, it has funny moments, but on the whole it's fucking thin alright atop? Feel free to continue "enjoying" it though.

i didn't like it at first. my complaint was always that the actors seem to act like they are in some hip commercial for khaki's and sonic milkshakes, and they all seem to have the exact same delivery. so it was odd seeing all the product placement in the last episode i watched.. but i still get a laugh here and there, so i give a thumbs up

by itself it's too generous. Part of why I make such a big deal out of this is because I want it to be funnier. The characters and scenes could easily be more fleshed out -- I think the actors are quite capable... just the writing is a bit one-dimensional.

I think that's a totally legitimate criticism and, like you, I enjoy it despite that.

i am pretty convinced that i need to add w/e seasons are available to my netflicks, i am just too lazy >>

it's not that this show is BAD, it's just that a lot of other shows are MUCH BETTER.

It was even better when he tried again.

i was actually a lot more into the show before Danny Devito joined the cast, something about his character in the show i do not find funny at all. plus Always sunny was always just a surrogate Arrested Development for me personally. It's a good show but heavily indebted to the dynamic of Arrested Development. Probably the best original show FX has though

i watched a few episodes on accident once... it was alright... a few lols but overall just another show with characters I didn't give a shit about. I was drunk at the time so maybe I need to give it another go.
