HELP

the way that "Dedicated Loop" starts (before about 30 seconds in), where have i heard that melody/tune before??

i know it sounds like something i'm familiar with, but i can't place it

and i'm almost positive it's an aphex twin song, but don't let that thow you off...

i know what you mean, i don't think its from an aphex twin song but ive definately heard it live somewhere mixed in with something different

i know this isn't the answer you may be looking for, but i noticed in my waking haze that the first 30 seconds of 'dedicated loop' (or at least the beginning of the phrase in question) remind me an awful lot of the bass in 'i wish you could talk' in the beginning (starting around 23 seconds or so).

and yes i can tell that the two basslines are actually different, but they don't sound too unsimilar, other than the very apparent tempo change.

just think they're not totally apples and oranges.
