this is my first mix, i didn't do any beatmatching because most of the tracks are pretty ambient, and beatmatching tracks by bands just sounds odd. hope the transitions sound good anyway, i kinda fluked it in a few places!

anyway, i tried to compile something pretty diverse, and relatively obscure (with exception of pivot and gotye, who are fairly popular at least in australian 'indie' scenes), that said though, there were a few other genres i would have liked to include but they just didn't fit in.

haha, i actually like empire of the sun! but the theme was 'australian music you might not have heard'.

i like luke steele actually, because he's from perth, and the sleepy jackson are/were awesome. but yeah he is a bit of a wanker. then again if i had the budget and fame to go with it i'd probably dress like that.

needs more Here Come the Cars (acoustic version) by David Kilgour although he's probably a kiwi
