the analords are taking over

Recommended Posts

Is this Richard's best shit? As I come back to it, it keeps on growing for me... getting better with each listen... at first I thought the analords were just some fun simpler tracks, but I now realize how wrong I was with that assumption. The attention to detail is astounding and most songs have a warm organic feeling thats not necessarily missing from previous releases, but stands out like a sore thumb here. I hope he continues with this style of production, which judging from the tuss output, he will :spiteful:

xmd5a is more then a song to me its more like altering reality for the length of the song

+1

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

for me that statement proves the genius of richards production.

SAW 85-92, Polygon Window and all the old stuff that i

thought would never be topped has in fact been at least

equalled by analord tracks such as w32.deadcode.A, crying in

your face, pissed up in se1 and many more. Probably

bettered, in fact, since in order to equal those early

records, these Analord tracks have to compete with all

the stuff that goes with those records. The 16 or 17 years

of emotional connections with those records, their novelty

and brilliance, being in the prime of your life, all the

lsd, the unexplored future, the healthy knees and powerful

erections. the fact that i can even put Analord on a par

with SAW 85-92 is literally blowing my mind as i type this.

OMG! Analord is BETTER THAN Selected Ambient Works

so your saying he used analog gear on analord? i would of never thought it!!! now it makes sence!

For me, I think the Analords may be his best.

I am judging on a ratio of really really good tracks/album.

Most of his albums have lots of really good tracks but I think the Analords have more really really good ones.

Analord is by far my favorite stuff of Richard's after some time to let it all digest. Xmd5a is also my favorite track of his. This thread is win.

Well before RDJ album he was using analog gear... my point was that his early analog stuff is good, but over time his production/techniques got better after he did Drukqs and all his digital stuff. His analog sound is just so dense now, compared to before.

I think it's pretty magical. It's more traditional than most of his stuff but they are some of his tastiest tracks absolutely and it shows how inventive the guy is. So many great tunes and ideas. And there's over 40 of them so it's nice to just go on Analord binges.

I think the Analords are probably some of his best work, yeah, but I still hold his top 3 for Drukqs, ICBYD, and SAW85-92. Those just seem to have more feeling (esp Drukqs), and probably peppered w/nostalgia as well. That being said, the Tuss is like Analord 10 on crack, and it'll be interesting to see where he goes from there.

THATS HOW U NO U GOD WHEN YOU GOTA MODEL AND SHE THROW UP ON YO DICK BECAUSE ITS SO BIG AND YOUR IN A LIMO GOING TO A LIL B CONCERT - Lil B

the analords are awesome, I would like to have em all on LP. They have this amazing polished streamlined sound to them, really funky and lush sounding. It's stuff like this they should be playing in clubs, dance friendly with a twist of the intricate Aphex touch. Sweet as.
