Boards of Canada BOC Inspired Painting

I'm selling a one of a kind painting inspired by the song "Pete Standing Alone" by Boards of Canada. Bidding starts at $500. Anyone interested?

That's really good. I don't have that kind of money around to spend on art however, and with things of this sort, I almost like them more not knowing that ___ was inspired by ___. I love when I make those own interpretations and connections by myself, and I think this piece is good enough to stand on its own without the boc-connect. personal thing really. but good job

it actually looks kinda cool as a wallpaper. there is no doubt that it's a nice picture. $500 is quite steep though.....but no need to trash it. he put effort into it

yeah, paintings can go for that much. not for us idmers though that save their cash for vinyl or a little machine that goes "bleep" and eat ramen noodles

Someone paints something just so they can take it to a BOC forum and then ask people to pay for it?

You're a complete stranger, no one knows you, it isn't like you're a known artist. Practically the only reason people cough up so much money for paintings is because of its name value(i.e someone buy a picture of poop if Picasso painted it no doubt). I can imagine what went through your head painting it.
