From what I've heard, not like battles at all. Reminds me more of a band called Trumans water, but not as good.

I think I really do not like this

I listened to both tracks, and frankly, I can't see what they hear in this duo in terms of "good music".

Hmm, name is familiar. Research shows that I had their album Chrome on my wishlist several years ago, but never picked it up. I don't remember the samples sounding anything like this song on Warp, though. Doesn't sound like Battles to me either. Pretty noisy. I know it's fun to dis every new Warp signing right off the bat, but I'm not feeling it on first listen. Though I'm more likely to eventually like this and possibly like other songs than I am to like the two other recent signings.

I'm enjoying these two tracks. It's an interesting progression to see how bands have come from stuff like !!! to this.

According to RYM, they have 5 albums (on the respectable Temporary Resistance label) and 2 EPs, dating back to 2001.

the first song on the single is stupid and annoying, but the second is ok

Singing made the "Ark Drum" song enjoyable.

yea Nice Nice is rad but it's hard to follow em in 09 considering every band in CA these days is biting their style so hard with some lousy pedal stomping, sp404 noddling AnimalCollective vibe..

I hadn't listened to the second one (Ark Drum) till now, and I agree. Second one's pretty decent.

Not bad. I can see people liking this. Not really my thing, though.

I like it as well.....sounds like Health, whom Warp should go ahead and sign as well

I thought One Hit sounded shitty, waaaaay to noisey, however I liked Ark Drum so I 'd have to say it's to early to call this one.
