I like most Black Eyed Peas songs

Recommended Posts

Wtf?! I can't get them out of my head. They are so dumb, but so catchy and enjoyable. I like the vocal effects in 'Boom Boom Pow,' the chorus of 'Meet Me Halfway,' the invocation of "mazel tov!' in 'I Got A Feeling' ... FUCK!!

ps: This editor is slightly wack in that you have to scroll down like an entire screen's worth to get to the 'post new topic' or 'post reply' button once you've typed your message.

ps: Sometimes this happens with Akon songs, too. And I just feel so bad about myself!

akon - na na na and beautiful are incredibly catchy songs (+ they are sweet in sentiment)

i was on the train at rush hour the other day and this fine, happy-looking woman was shaking it to her ipod, in the minimal space she was afforded . . i asked her what she was listening to and she said black eyed peas! i was like, word!

they're just fuckin awful! the rapping in that 'half way' song is shocking... can't rhyme or keep a rhythm going so they say the same words repeatedly to fill the bars. i'd pump fergie though... and maybe give will:iam a handy.

do you guys get N-Dubz and tinchy streider in the US? i can't stand them so much it hurts my arse when i hear their music. n-dubz gives me piles.

agree with you on this one though

seriously though, I can't believe such a flat song like boom boom boom is being broadcast on mtv, cause it sounds well flat

Holy shit, I heard nothing but these two songs EVERYWHERE I went in Portugal recently. The DJ's had a playlist of the same five songs I think and nowhere you went didn't have those two.

Sometimes when im drivin for a while and i cant switch out cds i turn on the radio to see if i can find anything to kill some time with. Sure enough theyre playing the exact same songs i heard the last time i listened to the radio. It blows my mind that by listening to 20 minutes for programming you can hear their playlist for the entire week, just 20 minutes of the same goddamn songs looped over and over every single day week after week after week!

The worst part is, whether im listening to girltalk or the radio, those pop songs just pentrate your mind and suddenly i cant stop from hearing "papa...papa...papa-razi!" for DAYS on end. Why is all pop music like this?! How can 20 seconds make one riff or phrase more buried in your psyche than any other song youve ever actually liked or listened to? I really want to know the science behind this shit.

Lol, welcome to Portugal. It's true though.

The boom boom pow track is one of the worse things I've ever heard, "I'm so 3008, you're so 2000 and late"

That digital spit

Next level visual shit

I got that boom boom pow

How the beat bang, boom boom pow

whoever is twiddling the knobs back there actually knows what they're doing and elephunk is a quality quality pop album. Didn't find that same groove in Monkey business, also could not stand my humps. Saw them live before fame and fortune and fergie when they opened for de la soul (!) and were the best opening band I've ever seen, tons of dancing energy. First two albums are good and have heard nothing of the new one. Not even the single.

I hate their music, but I kinda like the song clumsy. In a guilty way

I rediscovered Batdance by Prince the other night. The bridge in that song is amazing
