Dear All,

A quick note to announce the arrival of a new Moon Wiring Club CD 'Striped Paint for the Last Post'.

It's quite probably the best MWC cd yet, and I know two people who've seen the cover and said it looked really quite lovely.

As before, Jon Brooks has mastered it, so you KNOW it sounds delightful.

Here's what Stan Crotty had to say about it in 1974:

'With both toe-tapping rhythms and accessible electronic melodies coated in glutinous quantities of delay and reverberation,

Striped Paint for the Last Post is set to EXPLODE the music centre of today's discerning audiophile'.

The release date is 23/11/09, but you can pre-order NOW from the Blank Workshop's Online Giftshop:

and it might even arrive a bit sooner : )

Thank you for listening and have a charming late-Autumn evening.

If you like the Ghost Box label, you should definitely check this out

Got the email this morning too (nice surprise) and just preordered. Already got the other two CDs and they're really, really good. I've heard that there was something that he did before An Audience of Art Deco Eyes. Anyone know if I've got that right?

Turned up in the post today. Only one listen so far, but I'd say it's up there with the other two albums. Looking forward to listening further.

Actually, I think this might be the best album yet. Think I'll email him to ask about any earlier releases, I've contacted him before and he's very amenable and a nice bloke to boot.

Also, can't remember if this cropped up on WATMM before (it might have while my account here was suspended). If not, it's definitely worth checking out.
