This track is almost done. It's not getting any longer, but I need to go back and change a few things. Help me by pointing out anything that YOU think needs to change.

Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it!

nice track, i'd get that snare poppin' though. maybe do some eq to give it a little more crack in the high end, and do some cool layering and get a nice stereo snare or something.

what do you mean by layering? stacking up individual tracks?

i mean take several different snare samples to get both oomph and crack, compress them together to unify them, and also try putting different snare samples at different spots to get a nice wide clark-style snare. maybe mix in some kick samples as well in your snare track, as long as they don't go too far down the frequency spectrum and conflict with you main kick.

yeah i liked this track a lot! the pluck synth has a really nice feel to it. i completely agree with ryan on the drums - they could use some dynamicism. they could use some pop and stutter/flam every once in a while. i would definitely consider upping the pace on the drum track as well and making it a little more grabbing. as i said, sweet track!
