Yes, I've discussed this before.

I've gone off Top Gear since they've become so self-aware. Global popularity has most certainly gone to their heads and affected the show.

That and I don't like the presenters.

it really is one of the best shows on TV. i think it's hilarious how they joke with each other- it's all from the competitive spirit of racing. it wouldn't be nearly as entertaining if the host wasn't a professional douche.

Nah I get it, I don't even mind the show really. Watched it with my ex a lot. As douchebaggish as they are, they're good presenters. Just don't understand how you can turn Dave on (as in the TV channel, not some bloke) and they have about 10 episode marathons. Proper sleephouse.

When you put the 3 of them in a room together it is the most nauseating experience for the television viewer. The fake/rehearsed/scripted banter between them is the king of cringe. If Clarkson presented this on his own it would be bearable. At the moment, the segments of the show where the 3 of them interact with eachother are fucking unwatchable unless you're a public school educated fucking faggot where these kind of exchanges "are the norm". A complete waste of some loveely cars.

Yeah, did you see the series he made with Oz Clark on wine, with May quite obviously pretending to be oblivious to the merits of wine. Which was to mine a vein of sympathetic intrest within the common british man. Then of course May is through the course of the series won round by Clark's illustrations, prodding and countless boozy sessions.

It is a ground breaking show in that it is very stylized with nice photography but yeah, the hosts have gotten on my nerves. I like James May enough I guess.
