is that a goat in the background?

nice track, am i mistaken in thinking this is in reason?

lol no, it's not a goat, although I guess I can see why you say that. It's actually a crowd from the movie "Army of Darkness", chopped and screwed. Yeah, it's Reason. I used all my own sounds though.

just me experimenting to be honest. I'm new to this style I reckon. Duly noted, although I am technically happy with the results.

don't get me wrong, I love repetetive techno that's basically the same thing for 5 minutes, but this track didn't feel like it wanted to be repetetive....it felt like it was dying to break into something different/more banging.

well, if it was me, then no - i actually never go back to tracks once they're finished, just use them as a learning platform for the next one.

Is this the first thing you've been happy with in FL? I know you just switched, how's that going for you?

nice name ;p

u need to just get with the program and use cubase sneaks. It's not that hard of a curve if you are used to reason. And there's some fantastic video tutorials out there.

well they are both very different. Live is better for using...live, but cubsae can do the same too if you just figure out how to do it. Cubase is just what i prefer, great organization, very powerful tools i'll never use. Abelton is good for loop based stuff as it is set up that way, but cubase can do it too, just handles it different. however the newest cubase 5 has a great groove module in it and the vst's that come with the program are for the most part, quality,

Nice track sneaksta303! :music:

Ableton has evolved far beyond its marketed 'Live' features, its an incredible environment to compose and arrange tracks. I think just use whatever works, even if its not intended, or meh, if your getting results stick with it. :cisfor:

i personally found the compositional side of live to be horrible.

can't say i liked this tune either. like someone said it doesnt go anywhere or do anything and it kinda sounds like a kind of techno i just can't really stand.... so not for me thanks.
