i'm actually kinda surprised we didn't do a thread already.

six feet under is the only show i watched every episode of, semi-religously.

this is a bit more silly fun than 6ft (and the deep south/minority shit lends itself way too easily to racism metaphors from lazy writers from time to time, but that's charlaine harris' fault really)

but goddamn it's watchable good fun, and i'm a sucker for the southern gothic thing and this pulls it off pretty well. and lol yes plenty of HBO t&a and vampires are always sexy innit. i''m a quarter of the way through season 2 after a week-long binge, and it was cool to see the originality not disappear too much in season 2... that's a plague of a thing after shows get greenlighted.

also, anna paquin has that weird down's syndrome sexy thing going on.

although it is basically one of those shows that takes place in dimension bowie, where everyone is sexy.

good show.

season 2 wasn't very good tho.

I tried a few times to get into this but it didn't happen. I'm a huge six feet under fan but this doesn't feel very 'alan ball' to me. I'll give it another go if I get hbo again I think because I started getting cozy feelings toward the blonde chick even though she isn't that hot. it was confusing me.

was watching this with an ex-gf as she was all about it.. made it part of the way through season 2 before i realized i was watching more a soap opera than anything else. promptly stopped! but anyways, enjoy

True Blood is melodramatic/overacting/mythological/sex/violence, and funny especially if you are from the southern US.

yeah, this show went downhill fast. i gave up on episode 1 of season 3. very disappointing considering it's alan motherfucking ball. plenty of eye candy though, especially evan rachel wood.

i didn't watch season 3 as i said so i suppose sam's thing might become a bigger deal, but i always found him supremely annoying.

Goddamn it watmm, you got my girlfriend and I watching this and the first season was entertaining but man the second season is trash, I've lost interest but the gf hasn't and now she's dragging me along behind her...
