same here. I love Deadringer and Since We Last Spoke but his last album was horrible. RJD2 and DJ Shadow both need to stick to what they are good at. The former needs to stop singing on his records and the latter has to quit that hyphy bullshit.

I agree with everything that has been said on this thread... Especially the DJ Shadow bit.

After shadow and rj lost the plot, blockhead's solo albums have filled the void quite nicely. Alias is good too, apart from the tracks featuring the anticon-emo-whine/rap

I still like deadringer, since we, and magnificent city, so it'll be interesting to see what rj comes back with.

If the the first track is any indication, it looks like RJD2 has put away his guitar and has thankfully gotten back to basics:

cunninglynguists fill that void for me now, though I haven't checked out their latest album yet.

anyone heard leaks from this yet? it comes out next week and i haven't found shit. they must be keeping it locked the fuck down with no advances or anything. all i've found so far is the single w/ Kenna.

I'll give it a few more listens and a fair shake, but my initial reaction is that this is pretty crap.

I will admit that The Stranger is a great track (one of his best actually), but the very next track Walk With Me...
