aquarius ep tattoo

im thinking of getting this someday. Dont have any tattoos right now. Just figured I'd share the idea though, seems cool to me. what are your reactions?

it would be just the image, no text. probably on my upper arm or left pec.

and then at drunken parties i could ask people to color in the image. that is all.

Good thinking sir, this actually brings me to the next step in the process. I have found a tattoo artist, a david houang, that will do the art piece for 110 dollars.

So now Im calling out to all people here: I need a hi res scan of this image. I cant find one, I probably wont do it, david even told me he needed a hi res image. So yeah, if anyone could get me one or point me in the right direction I would appreciate the favor.

As a recompense for this favor, i promise to post my tattoo (if i decide to go with it) an a haha your tattoo is stupid blogsite of sorts.

got the image, 1000x806x24 BPP. Seems pretty decent, so unless anybody can put up a higher quality image, im off to sit on it.

so, i have two options, first being i do half the tattoo, the other being i do the tattoo in a grey or light blue tint, on my ass cheeks.

So im really confused right now, therefore my decision is to wait until the next boc release to get started on the tat.

as usual remember tattoos are for life, your music taste may not be. that's why I wouldn't get a band or anything tattooed, who knows what I might end up digging down the track?

I must admit, when i read good sir LUDD's comment, my sarcastometer went off the charts, and so my comment should be considered sarcastic as well. Regarding the point that there are way better boc things i could get tattooed, you should consider personal tastes and limited economical factors as reasons for my decision (consider the economy in getting a tattoo which consists of pure outline). Finally, I do agree, music tastes are constantly changing, and that is the great thing about the colour in tattoo; I have always enjoyed this image aesthetic wise. So, yeah, i will wait, and thanks for the good faith.

p.s: no matter how much I love LUDD, i would not follow his advice regarding a tattoo, unless he approves my next idea, which is getting the quaristice album cover tattooed on my left loin.

i would personally do a crayon drawing of what i imagine turquoise hexagon sun to look like, and then get a tattoo based on that.

Also, dont you think the aquarius colour in sheet as a tattoo is unique enough? I mean, how many beings universe wide would have that by now? Surely no more than 100. Pretty younique IF you ask me.

ah much better. good thing i got the five head going on, plenty o space. But of course, one project at a time. these things can get expensive if commissioned to a proper artist. Heck one well established tattoo lady going by carrie said she would charge me a sweet 500 for the boc vinyl inlay tat. I must agree though, like is stated on the site, "the bitterness of a bad tattoo is remembered long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten!"
