Open the Light fan video

I've seen other people make fan videos so I figured I would post one of my own. I put a section of "open the light" to one of my levels in this video as players pass through the clouds collecting rain drops and flowers! I think it fits quite nicely what do you think?

goldsource, the mod is called sven co-op and it's for half-life 1

the "octupi" i assume you guys are talking about is a replacement for a parachute. the players hold down the usekey and it slows their decent. I got bored with the parachute model and replaced it with a half-life 1 monster that wasn't used in the original game :D

P.S. HL1 is a little outdated, as well as the goldsource engine.

He's called mr. friendly, and he is most certainly not a bullsquid.

I find the goldsource engine along with my mapper friends to be much easier to quickly manipulate, ie custom sounds models textures sprites skys etc then source.

So, does anyone actually play this mod?

Actually I'm just really confused what the heck it's even about... Looks like you bounce off the raindrops.

Yes people play it, probably 15-40 players active on servers at anyone time, depending on the day. And the official sven forum is still very active. Not trying to promote the mod but there's some more videos on my youtube account that show some more of actual gameplay on the mod if you are interested, which is oriented around coop with players vs monsters and the environment. My map actually has nothing to do with killing monsters, in this map you just take a break, soar through the sky and into the "clouds" and collect rain drops and "freaky flowers". Once you collect them all, the end portal is revealed. I mostly play with friends on my shared server with the custom maps me and my friends make to amuse ourselves and anyone else who is still playing the mod.
