The Fredd-e appreciation thread!

I know I'm not the most qualified of people to be saying Fredd-e needs some respect, but I've been watching the BoC subforum for quite some time now and only recently joined WATMM.

Anyway, lets give some lovin' to the man who collects, organizes, and presents all the BoC info you could ever want! and we can't forget that he's a seasoned BoC mythbusta' as well.

Lets hear it for Fredd-e and the bocpages!

Gets my respect because it must be a time consuming pain in the ass most of the time.

Davidac's BoC pages must also must get a nod, not at least from Fredd-e, cos that's where it started, and as a proper fan boy back then i printed all the pages and kept them in my own little BoC folder.

I'll donate my folder to the museum of Boc when it opens.

I was just snoopin' around the BOCpages today, seems that the WATMM page is just a little outdated.

indeed. With all due respect to Fredd-e for carrying the torch and redesigning the pages, much if not most of the content is DavidAC's.

maybe when watmm main site comes back there could be a wiki for each artist? doesn't use a great deal of bandwidth.

In the beginning bocpages (it didn't have that name back then) it was indeed merely a copy of the content of Davidac's pages. The whole idea was to continue his (and the community) effort and for me to toy a little bit with php and mysql in a very basic manner. But over the course of time there has been added a tremendous amount of new information to the static pages. (all the interviews for example)

But when the pages transformed a while later into a wiki it's when things really started to get going. A wiki is just the perfect kind of thing for a site like bocpages. It has and will always be a community effort. A lot of new content has been added by lots of members and in particular by Moebius. ( bocpages' top contributors )

There's lot of interesting info to be found, but one has to delve deeply and utilize the Special Pages to find the not so commonly linked pages, some examples of the special pages:

• Popular Pages
  
• Orphaned Pages
  
• All pages starting at 84 pontiac dream
  
• All pages starting at Rodox Video
  

There is lots to be found, but not always that easy to find.

Also I decided I should get rid of the fredd-e.narfum.org domain and hence I bought bocpages.org in August 2008. Time flies! BTW there is a contest going on about the new banners. Info to be found @ bocpages contest
