The Black Crow is My Messenger

It was really fucking cold in Calgary one day, and a crow flew right in front of my face and scared the shit out of me.

I then remembered that the Native Americans used to think of the black crow as a messenger of death, hence the title.

I was going for a stale, cold, dead sound... with a little naive hope at the end.

Hope you enjoy.

WOW I REALLY LIKE THE WAY THE AMBIENCE HARMONIZES WITH THE BEAT, IT IS BEAUTIFUL. VERY WELL DONE.

ACTUALLY THE CHORDS YOU HAVE THE PAD PLAYING ARE BORDERING ON GENIUS.

I LIKE HOW THE GROOVE GETS MORE COMPLICATED BUT THE FEELING REMAINS CHILLED.

AND THEN WHEN THE PAD ASCENDS UPWARD LATER ON, SO BEAUTIFUL.

AND THEN IN THE END IT IS LIKE YOU HAVE FIGURED OUT THE SECRET, YOU'VE FULLY ENGAGED IN THAT FLOATING MIST WAS OBSCURING YOUR VISION OF TRANSCENDENCE EARLIER!!

GREAT SHOW!
