So I've got 2 tests today then my finals start in about a week...late as shit this semester. What about the other watmm'rs? Who goes to colllege here? What's your major? When's your winter break start?

I go to Uni so I figure I'm eligible to post here.

I got 4 exams

Linguistics today

Law tomorrow

Geography on the 17th

Philosophy on the 21st

my major is Philosophy. All in all I would say my course load this semester is really not that bad. I can work really hard and do really well in most classes that don't involve math

I studied at four different universities and I ended at the one, that´s in the city I live...this one should be the last, I want to finish it, I am not going to any other anymore.

I studied: 1/2 year at Faculty of Civil Engineering

0 year(was signed altough) at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

1 year of massmedia and advertising

1/2 year of informatics

1 year of massmedia and advertising again

currently I am studying massmedia (without advertising) for the third time, but this time it is in the city I live as I mentioned, what is a big plus and I like it at all as well so I am gonna stay...

I got exam from phonetics and phonology tomorrow and some other exams on Monday (anthropology of art and Orthography and Orthoepy)

My exam is in 22 minutes and I haven't studied at all this morning. I did some semi-studying yesterday though. Should be easy but my next post in this thread will answer that question finally.

I don't know where you guys are from but up here in snowy ol' Canada we have College and University, the former being for more applied stuff like trades and such, and the latter being for more academic studies.

And my exam was the easiest piece of shit on paper I've ever seen. 30 questions multiple choice. 30!!!! What the fuck? We had an hour to write it and I was done in 20 mins and I can guarantee every one of you would have passed it having no knowledge of linguistics

As a side note, if you are looking for a class you can pass with earplugs and a blindfold on take a first year linguistics class.

I think, it’s funny the US/UK semester is about to end, since we still have about two months to go (started in October). We’re taking a break from Dec 21st to Jan 4th, though.

And I don’t have to write exams, just hand in my projects/give a presentation.

just finished my last final last night at 8pm. Shitty math final which i probably did badly on, but thats ok because i aint gotta pass that one. Agricultural sciences major. probably will switch to horticulture/microbiology/agricultural engineering next term. Took a year and a half of art school then switched to this gig.

I'm in my third year in the School of Education and my major is Secondary Science Ed. (high school/middle school science teacher) Had a test yesterday, but tomorrow is stop day! 3 final exams and 2 final papers (15 pages total) due next week. My winter break starts next Friday after I finish my Oceanography final.

i just started in the university at the ripe age of 27. fuck if i find a job in this shitty economy that's worth doing. better late than never to get an academic degree or maybe it's just sad. i intend to get my master's degree in comparative religion in 5 years, which means lots of work. fuck knows what i'll do once i am ready. join the rest of the unemployed peeps with degrees in humanities i guess. this first semester is very easy with not many courses to do, but will get busier the second year. had my intro to judaism exam today and next week philosophy of science exam. and then nothing until the 10th. aside from reading some course literature.

i'm about to get my bachelor's in computer information systems. projects and shit due all this week, finals next week.

i haven't slept much. spent an entire day (10+ hours) straight building a mock hospital database in sqlplus. spent the last few days working on crappy little java apps. i don't really have time to do much for my non-major gen eds, i'm just shooting for passing on those courses.

fuck college, i can't wait to do work and be paid for it.

No, that’s just over christmas and new year’s. The courses of this semester actually end around Feb 12th and the next semester’s courses are Mar 15th – Jul 16th. So it’s all cool.

I'm doing a masters degree in toxicology. I've never seen so much work, apparently this term (first one) is the worst one but I'm barely staying on top of it. I have some short answer exams next week and a lot of coursework due before christmas. I'm pretty sure I'm going to fuck up one of the exams or one of the essays because I don't have time. Then main exams at the end of January. I'm banking on the three weeks christmas holiday to get myself together.

I'm losing my mind over a metabolism lab report at the moment, got so much data in front of me I can't even remember what any of it means if I look away from the screen for more than a second. I'm trying to use statistics software that I don't understand and this new version of excel is making me want to cut my cock off. FUCK EDUCATION

i'm pretty sure my break is only dec. 21 - jan. 4

quarters are 11 weeks long here but this one was only 10

Classes started on August 20th this semester. How many breaks did you have over the semester? I see you're in Germany.
